A Woman Engages In Irresponsible And Heavy Drinking And Gets Top Shelf Help At An Alcohol Treatment Center For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Posted in: Miscellaneous

Beth was the mother of four children. Beth had been feeling quite nervous lately and began to "medicate" herself by having several bottles of beer each night after she tucked her children into bed. After nearly eight weeks of this drinking routine, she finally comprehended the fact that instead of helping her "take it easy" and cope with her problems, drinking made her feel less restful when she awakened in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel even more stressed throughout the .

After reflecting on her circumstance for two or three days, Beth made up her mind to discuss her drinking problem with her closest friend. In fact, approximately ten minutes into their discussion, Beth's friend Shaylee, mentioned that she knew about an extremely helpful and proficient doctor at the local alcohol and drug rehab center. After talking to her best friend, Beth almost instantly got motivated to call the treatment center and schedule an appointment.

Twelve days later she finally got to meet the doctor her friend had talked about. After their short-and-to-the-point introduction, Beth told the psychiatrist that ever since her former husband and she got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, psychologically, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the doctor, she underlined the point that she really thought that she and her former husband dated long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, to the contrary, everything seemed to deteriorate. What is more, both she and Robert started to drink, and their careless drinking negatively affected their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.

The psychiatrist explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her irresponsible and abusive drinking. The psychiatrist also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the typical symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol treatment.

After spending two months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was slowly but surely able to realize that the main cause of her anxiety and her depression was that she had not laid to rest her resentful feelings she has for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings disturb her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent person.

Armed with these insights and with the meds her physician prescribed, she finally quit drinking, she began to feel much less depressed, and she began scheduling more time for social events with her family and friends. Not only this but a few months after receiving therapy from her doctor, she even started to date once again.

It was evident that Beth had come a long way. Indeed, just around five months after she completed her treatment, Beth had finally laid the harmful feelings of Robert, her former husband, to rest and was beginning to feel more complete and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
