When I heard that there was a device known as anti bark collars I thought that it had to be a joke. I was truly surprised that things like this even exist. I always thought that a dog's bark was a good thing particularly if the pup is supposed to help protect the house. Still, I began studying about anti-bark collars and I'm barking an entire new tune.
While a dog's bark is great for protecting the house as well as for communication, many pets may yelp overly. We all have a relative or friend who owns a dog that truly takes barking to an entire new level.
Using anti bark collars on these pets may be a real benefit. The question is regardless of whether the devices are humane.
I made the decision to do a little home-work about an anti bark collar for my pet dog and I was pretty happy with what I found. Granted, my research isn't complete but it does point to a positive direction for anti bark dog collars in general. I've to look into it a little more before I would actually recommend using one for a dear pet.
Excessive barking can destroy your friendship with your neighbors. Nobody wants to live next to a dog that makes noise all day long and all the night long. The anti bark collar was designed to help the pet limit his barking habit almost like helping a person who bites his nails curb his biting. The approach seems to be really compassionate and I'll tell you why I think so.
My initial reactions to the anti-bark collars might stem from other products on the market that are designed to control a pet's behavior. Shock collars were the first thing that came into my mind. However, I found that the anti-bark collars work very differently and they produce excellent results.
I also like that there's research that's offered that suggests that the anti bark dog collars have no negative effects on the housepets. The devices use static to "correct" the dog when he barks. The static doesn't work quite the same as a shock. It simply redirects the dog's behavior when he is barking.
There are a couple of reasons why I'm giving the anti-bark dog collars a little time before I buy one for my pet. First of all, I don't know if I really want my pet's barking under control. It just is not excessive enough to create worry. However, if my dog were disruptive I may give the anti bark collars a try as a last resort.
