It’s a free online scanner that lets you scan suspicious files for viruses, worms, trojans and other kind of malware. The files are scanned with 27 antivirus/antimalware engines like AVG , Kaspersky , McAfee, Bit Defender, Avast… ; you have a complete list at the website.
You also might like the other services on site, SEO and network tools; website scan for viruses/malware, spam database, free webstats, website popularity and more. The stat scripts are not entirely accurate, but those seldom are, use them with a grain of salt. All this said and done, a good usefull site for you to bookmark.
We tested the scanner with a variety of files, mostly zips, some infected with trojans that were detected without a hitch. The only nag is that you need to have a bit of patience since a 500Kb zip file scan took about 2 minutes…
